From first call to final walkthrough—here’s what to expect when you work with us.
We look at the damage, surrounding conditions, and likely causes (settlement, drainage, age, traffic).
We explain what’s realistic for repair, what the limitations are, and when replacement is the better value.
If repair is the right call, we perform the scoped repair with a focus on clean integration and practical durability.
We outline maintenance and what to watch for—so you can plan ahead if broader replacement becomes necessary later.
Concrete repair can mean a lot of things—from small surface damage to larger structural or settlement issues. The key is understanding what caused the problem and what repair option will actually hold up.
South Coastal Builders LLC approaches repairs with a practical mindset. If a repair is likely to be a good solution, we’ll tell you. If the concrete is failing due to base issues, drainage problems, or widespread deterioration, we’ll explain why removal and replacement may be the better long-term path.
We’ll tell you when a repair is worth doing—and when it’s likely to be a short-term patch.
We prioritize fixes that improve safe use (like reducing trip hazards) and restore basic function.
We’ll explain the cost/benefit of repair vs. replacement so you can make a confident decision.
Even small repairs should be handled cleanly with respect for your property.

We do both, but repairs are handled case-by-case. Some issues are worth repairing; others will keep coming back unless the slab is replaced.
Sometimes. The best approach depends on how the slab moved and what’s causing it. We’ll assess the situation and recommend the most practical solution.
It depends. Some repairs can improve function and appearance, but a repair may still be visible and may not solve underlying base/drainage issues. We’ll set expectations clearly.
If concrete is widely deteriorated, has repeated movement/settlement, or has drainage/base issues that keep causing failures, replacement is often the better long-term move.

“**UPDATE** The owner came through!! He let me know he had a family emergency he was dealing with that caused the delay. Once that was dealt with, he gave a day and time he would fix the door and came through as promised. . My experience started off as a great one. The work was done timely and good quality. The follow-up is where things fell apart. One month after the building settled, one of the doors that was a custom build no longer opened. I contacted the builder several times by text or phone to be promised he would come by to take care of it. I have yet to see them.”
“Brian did a great job replacing our fence for a reasonable price. I would definitely use them again.”
