From first call to final walkthrough—here’s what to expect when you work with us.
We evaluate the failing concrete and discuss replacement scope (partial vs. full), layout improvements, and drainage considerations.
We remove the concrete as scoped and keep the work area organized for safety and efficiency.
We prep the subgrade, set forms, place reinforcement where needed, pour the new concrete, finish the surface, and plan joints appropriately.
We confirm the finished surface, clean up, and provide practical guidance on curing and return-to-use expectations.
Some concrete surfaces reach the point where repair is no longer the best option—widespread cracking, settlement, surface deterioration, or poor original grading can make replacement the smartest long-term solution.
South Coastal Builders LLC provides concrete removal and replacement across Pearland and surrounding communities. Our goal is to reset the project correctly: remove the failing concrete, address base and grading issues where possible, and install a new slab with clean edges, proper jointing, and durable finishing.
Replacement gives you the chance to address base, layout, and drainage issues that caused repeat failures.
A new pour with clean forms and edgework can dramatically improve curb appeal and usability.
We keep the project plan straightforward—demo, prep, pour, cure guidance—so expectations are clear.
Instead of piecing together demo and concrete work, we can often handle it as one coordinated scope.

It depends on the cause and severity of the damage. If the slab is failing due to settlement, poor base, or widespread deterioration, replacement is often the better long-term value.
In many cases, yes—demo and haul-off can be included as part of the scope. We’ll confirm details during the estimate.
Often, yes. A new slab can be formed and poured with a more appropriate slope (where possible), which can help prevent water pooling and improve runoff direction.
Sometimes. Partial replacement depends on how the existing slab is performing and whether a clean joint/transition can be created. We’ll advise what’s practical after assessing the site.

“**UPDATE** The owner came through!! He let me know he had a family emergency he was dealing with that caused the delay. Once that was dealt with, he gave a day and time he would fix the door and came through as promised. . My experience started off as a great one. The work was done timely and good quality. The follow-up is where things fell apart. One month after the building settled, one of the doors that was a custom build no longer opened. I contacted the builder several times by text or phone to be promised he would come by to take care of it. I have yet to see them.”
“Brian did a great job replacing our fence for a reasonable price. I would definitely use them again.”
